Job Description:

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Product & Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Support business sector in our Customer Support Service Solutions (CS3) Line of Business. The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Controller to provide top-class support to the Product & MRO sector, delivering accurate, timely, and relevant management information, as well as offering advice and guidance to project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Financial Controller in preparing sector monthly forecasts, including assumptions, risks, and opportunities, and providing explanations for forecast movements.
  • Monitor financial performance through the Monthly Forecast and Business Planning/Budget processes.
  • Collaborate with project teams and budget holders to understand forecast, business plans, and CSR movements.
  • Reconcile financial data and resolve problems/issues to ensure the integrity of information provided.
  • Liaise with Commercial Officers to provide up-to-date debtor information, facilitating the chasing of overdue balances and highlighting problem areas.
  • Support project teams and the Financial Controller in closing down completed projects, including attending project closure meetings and completing the finance section of the process document.
  • Provide SAP administration support to the Financial Controller, including inputting amendments into the system and tidying up trading against completed projects.
  • Ensure all financial procedures and controls are applied as required and support non-finance functions in their application.
  • Proactively seek to improve local processes and working practices to drive efficiencies across the team and wider business, contributing to the advancement of the Finance function.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Focus on delivering high-quality output and support.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office.
  • SAP experience is advantageous.
  • A motivated and enthusiastic individual, eager to take on new challenges and excited about the projects/contracts they will be working with.
