Job Overview

Dairy Partners seeks a skilled professional to play a critical role in developing and maintaining strong partnerships with farm suppliers. The ideal candidate will have experience in agriculture, farming, or a related field, with a proven track record of building and nurturing relationships.

This position requires an individual who can promote environmentally friendly practices, ensure the highest standards of animal welfare and farm hygiene, and support routine farm audits to guarantee adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will also provide expert advice to farmers on regulations and legislation affecting the UK dairy industry and stay informed about trends, issues, and policy developments within the dairy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Farm Supplier Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong working relationships with all farm suppliers to secure high-quality produce while promoting sustainability.
  • Sustainability Strategy: Collaborate with Dairy Partners to drive strategy, including initiatives that promote sustainable farming practices.
  • Animal Welfare and Farm Hygiene: Regularly monitor animal welfare and farm hygiene standards to ensure compliance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Farm Audits: Support routine farm audits to guarantee adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Provide expert advice to farmers on regulations and legislation affecting the UK dairy industry.
  • Industry Insights: Stay informed about trends, issues, and policy developments within the dairy sector.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Agricultural Background: Proven experience in agriculture, farming, or a related field.
  • Educational Qualification: A degree in agriculture, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of animal welfare standards and sustainable farming practices.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align farm operations with broader business objectives.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is £52,500 per annum, depending on experience.
