Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join our team at Norgine. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for developing cost controls, monitoring expenses, and interpreting data to identify areas of focus to drive performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Analysis: Analyse and report on costs above gross profit, including material usage, scrap production, direct labour and variable expenses.
  • Month-End Support: Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes, including journal entries and necessary analysis.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory, including reconciling balances and calculating excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Audit: Assist with external audit.
  • Ad hoc: Support other areas of the function when required.

This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of IT systems, and excellent planning and organisational abilities.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
