Job Title: Data and Support Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data and Support Analyst to join our team at Red The Consultancy. As a Data and Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in the shipping industry by providing expert data analysis and support services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support and assist the Energy Management & Data Lead in daily tasks and projects.
  2. Deputise for the Energy Management & Data Lead during periods of vacation or absence.
  3. Monitor and correct daily submissions of vessel data to Eco Insights container.
  4. Prepare and submit client reports as directed by the Energy Management & Data Lead.
  5. Review and respond to Quarterly Shipboard Energy meeting minutes (SFTEC 30) within designated timeframe.
  6. Promote energy awareness throughout the fleet and ensure all employees are mindful of energy usage.
  7. Participate in the Energy Committee and contribute to energy-related projects.
  8. Work with Fleet Groups to produce, review, and update Performance Dashboards.
  9. Conduct Energy Management Familiarisation for new employees and Senior Officers during Induction Process.
  10. Enrol vessels into ESI (Environmental Ship Index) to reduce port costs.
  11. Prepare and submit SFENV 9 EU – CO2 Emissions Monitoring Plan and Emissions Reports for qualifying voyages.
  12. Prepare the SEEMP Part II and submit it for Confirmation of Compliance and review data reported by ships.
  13. Assist with projects within the Operations team as required.
Requirements:
  1. Fully completed Engineering cadetship and HND.
  2. Previous seagoing experience within the shipping industry.
  3. Technical Background.
  4. Excellent knowledge of MS Office products, specifically Word and Excel.
  5. Experience analysing complex data with a solution-driven mindset.
  6. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  7. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
