Job Title: SEMH Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEMH Teacher to join our team at a fantastic new SEMH school based just outside of Yeovil. The school fosters a thriving community where every individual feels welcome and valued.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a class of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. You will be expected to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the varying learning and social needs of your students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for a class of students determined by the Head teacher.
  • Carry out professional duties as outlined in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document.
  • Uphold the Staff Code of Conduct and guidance in other school Policies.
  • Teach a class of learners and ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment, and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs.
  • Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Promote the school's ethos and values.
  • Contribute to constructive team-building amongst teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and governors.
