Maths Lecturer Opportunity in Prison Education

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maths Lecturer to join our team in a prison education setting. As a Maths Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths education to adult learners, helping them to acquire essential skills and knowledge to improve their future prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Maths education to adult learners in a prison setting
  • Develop and implement engaging Maths lessons to meet the needs of learners
  • Assess and provide feedback to learners on their Maths skills and knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with the education team to ensure a high-quality education provision
  • Contribute to the development of Maths curriculum and resources

Requirements:

  • Five GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics
  • A Degree, or professional qualification, which is appropriate to the work
  • Teaching Qualification
  • Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies
  • Excellent team working, communication and interpersonal skills
