Cookery Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Cookery Lecturer to join our team in a prison education setting. As a Cookery Lecturer, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of offenders, helping them to develop essential life skills and gain qualifications in cookery.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. You will be responsible for delivering an unaccredited cookery course to engage offenders who are interested in pursuing education further. You will need to be confident in using technology and able to communicate effectively with learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality cookery lessons to offenders
• Assess and provide feedback to learners
• Develop and maintain relationships with learners, colleagues, and other stakeholders
• Contribute to the development of cookery curriculum and resources

Requirements:

• Good basic general education including GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C or above
• A Degree or professional qualification in a relevant field
• Teaching Qualification

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary scale of up to £34,439 per annum (pro-rata for part-time working hours). You will also receive annual leave and access to training and development opportunities.
