Job Title: Care Assistant

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality care to an individual with complex needs. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be flexible, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing gastronomy care and administering prescribed feed, fluid, and medication
  • Carrying out tracheostomy care to facilitate ventilation
  • Delivering personal care, including incontinence pad changes and measures to maintain skin integrity
  • Using moving and handling techniques (including hoisting)
  • Monitoring health crises and administering rescue medication
  • Assisting with domestic duties (Food prep, laundry, cleaning)
  • Supporting our client to travel to appointments and participate in social activities including swimming
  • Maintaining accurate records of our client's health and well-being
