Job Title: IT Field Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IT Field Support Engineer to join our team. As an IT Field Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to our computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, including switches, routers, servers, printers, and other IT hardware.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
  • Replace faulty equipment as required.
  • Respond within agreed time limits to call-outs.
  • Work continuously on assigned tasks/helpdesk tickets to completion.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in IT field support or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11.
  • Office365 management and maintenance.
  • Application support and software installs.
  • Knowledge of servers, networks, LAN/WAN, and cloud-hosted solutions.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of ITIL V4 Foundation practices, processes, and framework.
  • Experience with Sophos Antivirus software, Mimecast, PDQ, Logitech, and PowerShell.
  • Knowledge or experience of the Excalibur software program.
  • Knowledge of ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus ticket logging system.
