Behaviour Specialist Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Behaviour Specialist to join our team at EdEx Education Recruitment. As a Behaviour Specialist, you will be working with a Secondary school in Haringey, supporting students with their behaviour and mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with psychological professionals to support students
- Supporting therapists and psychologists in their work, shadowing their support
- Acting as a mentor and guidance counsellor to students
- Writing reports based on student's SEMH progress
- Managing student behaviour using your psychological knowledge
- Reporting back to SLT and the Pastoral Team
Requirements:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant
- Strong passion for working with students on their academia and mental health
- Enthusiasm and creativity to inspire children with learning
- The ability to write cogently and fluently with correct spelling and punctuation
- Patience, kindness, flexibility, good humour and the ability to work as part of a team
- Professional attitude and approach to work
