Job Title: Senior Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Atlantis Medical Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions.

About the Role:

The post holder will be a member of the Multi-disciplinary Team and will carry continuing responsibility for the assessment, treatment and management of a defined caseload. They will work closely with other local agencies, including Tier 4 inpatient and specialist centers, as well as the Mental Health Liaison Team and the home treatment team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist interventions for referred people within a therapeutic framework, both individually, with families and in groups.
  • Offer advice and support for other professionals as required.
  • Maintain accurate, legible and contemporaneous case records.
  • Treat all information acquired while carrying out duties in the strictest confidence, sharing it with professional colleagues in line with information sharing policy/protocol.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (Mental Health)
  • Ability to take charge of a ward/case load regularly
  • Good knowledge of recognised disorders and illnesses in the field of mental health
  • Use of therapeutic interventions with children and young people
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to use initiative / Able to positively influence others
  • Basic IT skills
