As a physiotherapist functional assessor at Avature, you will play a vital role in helping customers navigate the benefits system and make informed decisions about their health.

You will conduct thorough assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. Using your clinical expertise, you will provide detailed reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine a person's eligibility for benefits.

With a strong focus on flexible working, we offer part-time and hybrid options that allow you to balance your work and personal life. Our salary of £37,800 reflects the importance we place on attracting and retaining top talent.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
  • Produce detailed reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine a person's eligibility for benefits.
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with ongoing support and supervision.

Requirements:

  • Valid HCPC registration number.
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience gained within or outside of the NHS.
  • You MUST have the right to work in the UK – we cannot offer sponsorships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
