Salary & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £14.50 per hour during the day and £16.00 per hour at night, as well as a range of benefits including pension enrolment, standard sick pay, free training, and opportunities for career progression. You'll also receive a refer-a-friend bonus of £300 when you introduce a friend to our team

Job Requirements

">

We're seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in the Bodmin area. As a Support Worker, you'll provide one-to-one support to an individual with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. Your role will involve:

  • ">
  • Providing emotional support and encouragement to help the individual overcome daily challenges">
  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation">
  • Helping the individual to develop independent living skills and participate in activities they enjoy">
  • Working collaboratively with the individual's support network to ensure their needs are met">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A good understanding of Autism and Mental Health and how it can impact daily living">
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or mental health needs">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
  • A patient and empathetic approach to supporting vulnerable adults">
  • A willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends">

Schedule & Availability

You'll be required to work 12-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work overtime as needed. A driving licence is preferred but not essential. If you're passionate about delivering person-centred care and supporting vulnerable adults, we'd love to hear from you

A Mental Health qualification is preferred but not essential. We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.
