We are currently recruiting full time, part time and bank Support Workers to support an individual within the **NEWQUAY **area.
**Role Description**
We are committed to Equal opportunities. We currently have a great opportunity for dedicated Support Workers to work with an individual who has learning disability / autism / mental health support needs. The individual will be provide support throughout the day and night.
**To be part of their team, they are looking for the following qualities from a team member**:
- Provide support during the good times and the difficult periods our individual faces in their daily life.
- Have a good understanding of Autism / Mental Health and how this can impact daily living or have working with in a mental health setting
- Understand Autism or have had experience working with Autistic people, and that you understand that being autistic is an important part of who they are.
- Be a positive advocate for them.
- Be consistent - do what you say you say you will if you can’t explain why.
- Be prepared to motivate them in a supportive manner
- Be patient and understanding encourage them on the difficult days
- Have a fun and kind personality who will go on adventures
- Work with them to solve issues and overcome day to day tasks
- Come to work to “Get to know me” as that is what is needed to support them
- Work as part of the team who deliver amazing person-centred care
- Think outside the box
- Be able to have a laugh and joke but have set standards and boundaries

- £125 once the referred individual has successfully completed their first shift.
