About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • High and low dusting, mopping, wiping and scrubbing surfaces to maintain high hospital standards.
  • Cleaning of wards, side rooms, toilets, showers, infected and public areas.
  • Maintaining high hospital standards by ensuring all areas are clean, presentable and safe for visitors by following required policies and procedures.
  • Using equipment in accordance with the role following all Health & Safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • Possess excellent communication skills and able to work effectively with patients, visitors and healthcare staff.
  • Able to work under pressure, individually and as part of a team with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
  • Confident working in a hospital environment and aware at times you will come in contact with patients that are particularly unwell or showing signs of distress.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £12.08 per hour, 35 hours per week. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a Disclosure & Barring Service check costs met by the employer.
