The Role
We're seeking an 11kV Planner to join our team at Northampton, working across both Northampton and Milton Keynes areas. You'll be responsible for designing our network, working with engineers to construct, reinforce, alter, and replace equipment.
Main Responsibilities
- Design 11kV network reinforcement/replacement and automation schemes, including load flow and fault level analysis.
- Progress necessary consents for accepted quotations, prepare technical reports, capital sanctions, connection offers, plant and meter orders, and connection and responsibility agreements.

- Coordinate with Network Services planners in your area, provide technical support, and negotiate wayleaves, easements, and site acquisitions.
- Collate anticipated future load connection data to support Long Term Development Statements and Load Forecasts.

Requirements
You should have an analytical mind, methodical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to present information clearly and confidently deal with customers, including architects, developers, and businesses.
A valid driving license is required for this position, as you'll need to be mobile throughout the area. You should also have a flexible attitude, as you may be asked to undertake other duties to assist the team in meeting its objectives.
This role is subject to a satisfactory Barring Service check, depending on the role, different levels of screening and vetting are required.
