About the Role:

As a Railway Operations Planner at Network Rail, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our railway network. This involves developing detailed work plans, providing administrative support to the line manager and their team, and representing Section Managers at planning meetings.

The ideal candidate will have excellent planning skills, be able to accurately update systems and databases, and possess experience in clerical support and office management. Additionally, they should have knowledge of Sentinel database and be aware of safety protocols.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to the efficient running of our railway network. We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop detailed work plans for approval.
  • Provide accurate and effective administrative support.
  • Represent Section Managers at planning meetings.
  • Update systems, databases, and records as required.
  • Schedule profiles in work planning/scheduling systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Core Planning Skills Level 2.
  • Safe System of Work Planning Process and System.
  • Experience in clerical support and office management.
