Role Overview:
As a Project MEP Cost Consultant at Arcadis Human Resources Limited, you will play a vital role in delivering large-scale data centre construction projects in the UK and across Europe. Your expertise will be utilized to ensure the effective management of resources and budgets, while meeting set deadlines and delivering the required scope of work. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading small to medium-sized cost projects and assignments, ensuring the optimal use of resources and budgets.
  • Providing expert advice to colleagues on risk management, compliance, and associated behaviors, ensuring adherence to Arcadis' risk and compliance processes.
  • Presenting project risks or issues to senior managers to mitigate potential impacts.
  • Analyzing and reviewing various data and documents to identify key themes and trends, utilizing this analysis to provide informed advice and recommendations for cost and commercial management decision-making.
  • Sharing knowledge and providing insightful recommendations to enhance service improvement and innovation.
  • Interacting effectively and proactively across the organization, building individual networks and profiles, and applying technical knowledge to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Providing specialist technical advice to senior management on MEP cost and commercial management issues, offering solutions and sharing knowledge to support successful project delivery.

Requirements and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you will possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, coupled with previous experience in a similar MEP Cost and Commercial role. You should also have in-depth technical knowledge, including construction processes and cost and commercial management. Additionally, you will have experience leading smaller projects and supporting larger, more complex MEP projects, as well as completing commercial analysis and insights, working closely with external stakeholders to build client relationships, and managing business relationships and supporting middle management-level activities.
