Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and passionate Education Support Specialist to join our team. As an Education Support Specialist, you will work closely with teachers to support students' learning and development, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, assisting with classwork, assignments, and projects.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN), implementing individualized learning plans and strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
  • Assist teachers with classroom management and behavior management strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide feedback to teachers on student performance and development.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including preparing materials and resources for lessons.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role preferred.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity in the classroom.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare preferred.
