Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Airport Operations Manager to join our team at JD Sports. As a key member of our store's Junior Management team, you will play a vital role in providing managerial support and maintaining exceptional customer service standards throughout your section.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide managerial support to the store team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Supervise and assist staff in achieving sales targets, while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to attract and engage customers, driving sales and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the customer experience.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying trends and opportunities to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a retail management or supervisory role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
