Job Title: Agile DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Agile DevOps Engineer to join our Group Platform Service and Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, Jenkins, and IAC (Terraform) with a focus on DevSecOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with our development community to automate existing pipeline automation (Jenkins and Ansible)
  • Build and manage Buildpacks/IaC deployment and container images
  • Assist in developing engineering and operational service metrics to improve operational efficiency, enhance service quality/SLA, and optimize delivery
  • Develop IAC templates (Terraform experience)
  • Integrate DevSecOps practices into pipelines
  • Experience with GitOps methodologies
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience with Ansible/Ansible Roles
  • Ability to work with customers to gather feedback, train, and partners to evolve the service
  • End-to-end understanding of systems development life cycle methodology
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or proven equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and experience of AWS
  • Exposure to Configuration Management Solutions such as Ansible, Terraform
  • Understanding of scripting languages such as Python, Bash & Java
  • Tangible experience of DevOps tools i.e., Jenkins, GIT, Nexus, Jira
  • Knowledge of operating system fundamentals including diagnostics, tuning, and monitoring of IO, Networks, CPU, and Memory
