Job Title: Transport Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Transport Operations Manager to join our team at Streamline Search. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of 6 people, ensuring full compliance from all drivers on the use of the driver app, and achieving high levels of On Time In Full (OTIF) SLA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Manage a team of 6 people, providing guidance and support to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Compliance: Ensure full compliance from all drivers on the use of the driver app, ensuring that all drivers are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • OTIF Performance: Achieve high levels of OTIF SLA, ensuring that all deliveries and collections are made timely and cost-effectively.
  • Team Development: Manage and develop the team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Liaise and work with the customer liaison and warehouse teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Performance Management: Manage budget, KPI performance targets, and identify opportunities to deliver change initiatives to improve performance and maximize profits.
  • Fleet Management: Oversee the coordination of the fleet, ensuring that all deliveries and collections are made timely and cost-effectively.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Strong background in team management/leadership, with a proven track record of success.
  • Industry Experience: Proven background in the transport and logistics industry, with a strong understanding of relevant compliance and legislation.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prioritize and manage a varied workload.
