About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Specialist to join our central data team at Jet2 Plc as we continue to drive forward a data-first culture across our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the rollout of an enterprise-wide data governance framework, with a focus on data catalogue management, data standards, and data quality rules.
  • Collaborate with data delivery teams and self-service analytics users to ensure data standards are embedded into delivery practices.
  • Develop and implement data policies around data use and management, working with stakeholders across data, security, legal, and the business.
  • Establish and chair a Data Governance Steering Group to drive data governance adoption across the organization.
Requirements
  • Experience in data governance-related roles, including data policy development, data catalogue, or data quality tooling.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders across the business.
  • Familiarity with data analytics platforms and delivery, including experience working with data engineering, data analytics, data visualization, and data science teams.
