We're seeking an experienced and knowledgeable wine professional to join our Tesco Beers, Wines and Spirits team. As a Product Development Manager, you'll work closely with our suppliers and winemakers to develop and curate our own label wine blends.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement wine quality strategies for our own label blends.
- Collaborate with the Buying Manager to resolve OL volumes and ensure timely production.
- Work with the Product Team to review and improve the range proposition, ensuring it meets customer needs.
- Take an active role in monthly MQRs to ensure products meet customer expectations.
- Be the recognized expert for wine knowledge and competitor ranges.
- Communicate and deliver critical path for all relevant OL NPD.
- Lead the relationship and communication of OL Product info with internal stakeholders.
- WSET Diploma qualification, blending, and winemaking experience.
- A minimum of 2 years relevant wine experience in On or Off trade.
- Range curation, wine suppliers, and producers experience.
- Merchandise Planning or Critical Path Management skills.
- Proven track record of making decisions on market data.
- Annual bonus scheme of up to 20% of base salary.
- Holiday starting at 25 days plus a personal day (plus Bank holidays).
