Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Ridge & Partners LLP. As a key member of our Health and Safety team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing our health and safety policy, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines, and promoting a positive health and safety culture within the business.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety policy, including risk management systems and procedures.
- Manage and maintain accreditation and H&S office audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Engage with senior leadership on health and safety matters, providing strategic advice and guidance.
- Conduct training sessions, monitor compliance, investigate accidents, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Manage and maintain the internal H&S comms plan, ensuring effective communication of health and safety information to staff.
- Provide health and safety updates to the business, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
- Hold at least Technical Membership with IOSH and be working towards Chartered status.
- NEBOSH General Certificate is essential, with NVQ 5 H&S or NEBOSH Diploma preferred.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good analytical, communication, and presentational skills, with the ability to lead or work as a team member.
