About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our close-knit team in Lynton, North Devon. As a Community Healthcare Specialist, you will provide nursing care for palliative and end-of-life patients, including domiciliary and ambulatory wound care, catheters, and minor injuries.

The successful candidate will have autonomous working skills, using specialist assessment techniques to plan, implement, and evaluate care programs for individual patients. You will work closely with other professionals, such as hospice nurses, social workers, GPs, podiatrists, and tissue viability specialists.

Lynton is a beautiful area with a large influx of tourists during peak season. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification
  • Experience in community nursing, particularly palliative care and wound management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
