HFT, a leading learning disability charity, seeks an Employability Coach to support adults with disabilities in achieving their employment aspirations. As part of our innovative Project SEARCH initiative, you will empower individuals to develop skills, gain work experience, and find long-term paid employment.



About the Role

You will be working closely with our Work Options Manager to provide high-quality support, enabling adults with learning disabilities to overcome barriers and realize their goals. Your creative approach and enthusiasm will help people develop relevant skills, increase independence, and make informed decisions about their future.



Key Responsibilities

  • Support adults with learning disabilities in developing job skills and gaining work experience
  • Collaborate with colleagues from partner organizations to deliver effective support services
  • Assist individuals in achieving their employment aspirations and increasing independence
  • Empower adults to make informed decisions about their future employment opportunities


Requirements

To succeed in this rewarding role, you will need:



  • A 'Can Do' attitude and enthusiasm for supporting adults with learning disabilities
  • The ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to meet individual needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to collaborate with colleagues and partner organizations
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including occasional evenings and weekends, as required
