About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Generation UK & Ireland. As a key member of our Partnerships team, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with employers across various sectors in England.

Main Areas of Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development: Develop a pipeline of employers and key contacts across various sectors in England through targeted outreach and efficient sales strategies.
  2. Onboarding Employers: Handle all commercials (contracts, invoices, etc.) for each new employer, ensuring they understand Generation's processes, terms, and timings.
  3. Account Management & Growth: Manage employers to ensure there is a robust interview and feedback mechanism in place, design and implement employer engagement activities, and secure ongoing commitment from existing employers.
  4. Contribute to the wider success and growth of Generation: Contribute to the ongoing development of employer sourcing, onboarding, and account management processes, help develop Generation's understanding of the needs and attributes of employers, and contribute to the development of ROI frameworks and data collection processes.

Requirements:

  • A strong sales background with experience of working in a B2B setting, securing new business, and strong negotiation abilities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Confidence in managing relationships with a range of stakeholders, particularly senior stakeholders.
  • Exposure to working in a start-up or entrepreneurial environment, as well as some evidence of having worked independently.
  • A network of potential employers for our programmes would be a plus.
