About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Control, Electrical and Instrumentation (CE&I) Design Apprentice. As a key member of our engineering design team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills through practical hands-on work in a wide range of CE&I design topics.

As a CE&I Design Apprentice, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of CE&I engineering in a nuclear environment. This will involve developing a broad understanding of a range of topics to respond to different types of work packages, including First Of A Kind (FOAK) solutions.

You will also have the opportunity to work within a highly regulated and complex environment, bringing unique challenges that require careful consideration and attention to detail. On this apprenticeship, you will be following the Nuclear Science and Engineering, Level 6 standard.

Our apprentices are our future, which is why we have a dedicated programme that supports you in your personal development while you complete your apprenticeship. You will receive a tailored induction, which will give you an understanding of the business, the programme you will follow, and what we expect from you during your apprenticeship.

For the first year of your apprenticeship, you will spend your time at our college providers' training facility. You will be supported through your apprenticeship journey, focusing on personal development, including time management, team working, and more.
