About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialised support to students with complex needs related to Mental Health, Anxiety, and Behaviour.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to create an inclusive and engaging curriculum that addresses the specific challenges associated with Mental Health, Anxiety, and Behaviour.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment to promote social, emotional, and mental well-being.

The SEMH school setting is specifically designed to address the unique needs of students with complex challenges related to Mental Health, Anxiety, and Behaviour. The school focuses on creating a supportive environment where all students have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).

Requirements:

  • A deep comprehension of the diverse needs associated with Mental Health, Anxiety, and Behaviour.
  • An ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the unique requirements of individual students.
  • A patient and understanding approach, when facing challenging behaviour.
