Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team at Leaders in Care. As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing effective leadership and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care within our outstanding-rated nursing home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all clinical aspects of care within the home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
  • Provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure effective induction of all staff, clinical supervision of trained staff, mentorship, and assessment of student nurses, as well as induction of new care staff.
  • Work within the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Professional Conduct and the Commission for Social Care Inspection standards.
Requirements:
  • Hold a current NMC PIN - RGN or RMN with some elderly nursing experience.
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Have a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards.
  • Must have proven experience at supervisory level within a nursing home, having previously worked as a Home Manager, Deputy Home Manager, Nurse Manager, or Clinical Lead.
