We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team as an Aseptic Services Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, delivering a quality chemotherapy service to our cancer patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Aseptic Services Team in the effective and day-to-day running of the Pharmacy Aseptic Services Unit (PASU).
  • Support all aspects of pharmacy requirements, including handling, receipting, dispensing, aseptic preparation, drug accountability, storage, and disposal.
  • Complete pre and in-process checks of aseptically prepared products and supervise operators within the cleanroom.
  • Follow department standard operating procedures, ensuring all activities are in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and Good Distribution Practice (GDP).

Person Specification
  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent, plus accredited underpinning knowledge.
  • Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Basic knowledge and experience of pharmacy, working within a team, and managing own workload to meet the needs of a service.
