We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Holywood Care Home, part of Beaumont Care Homes. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality, nutritious meals for our residents, ensuring that their dietary needs and preferences are met.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals for residents, adhering to nutritional standards and dietary requirements
- Lead and motivate a team of kitchen colleagues to deliver exceptional catering services
- Plan and deliver menus in consultation with the Home Manager, residents, families, and catering committees
- Monitor and replenish kitchen and food stocks, maintaining records in line with Company procedures
- Ensure high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food preparation are maintained at all times
- 1 year's experience working in a kitchen environment
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety management
- Ability to work under own initiative and in a fast-paced environment
- Polite and courteous, energetic, and outgoing
