Job Description

Spectrum IT Recruitment (South) Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. As a leading provider of IT recruitment services, they require a skilled professional to maintain and improve their IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain hybrid infrastructure solutions
  • Manage and support VMWare vSphere environments
  • Configure and troubleshoot network equipment, including routing and switching
  • Implement and maintain backup technologies and best practices
  • Provide technical support for Microsoft endpoint technologies, including InTune, Office 365, Exchange Online, MFA, and SharePoint online
  • Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure and Security Manager to ensure compliance with company security and compliance standards
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the IT team, line manager, and internal customers
  • Ensure that IT procedures are maintained and documented for handover to the 1st line team

Requirements:

  • Competent IT user with experience in using standard Microsoft office tools
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Windows Server technologies and Linux systems
  • Understanding and support of VMWare vSphere, Linux server, and Windows Server
  • Ability to pick up new technologies and be involved in the planning of software and hardware upgrades
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
