About the Opportunity

This is an exciting, year-round opportunity for aspiring Software Engineers who are currently pursuing a degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or other relevant disciplines related to software development.

As a member of the KAL Engineering team, you will work collaboratively with and under the guidance of experienced professionals. Over a period of 8-12 weeks, our aim is to provide you with a practical insight into the business, while giving you valuable experience in software engineering to support your studies.

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related engineering degrees
  • On track to achieve a 2:1 minimum
  • A solid understanding of software as part of a system
  • Knowledge of C, C#, C++, Angular, React, SQL, and other backend systems
  • Knowledge of testing, including structured debugging
  • An interest in the commercial use of technology
  • Fluency in English is essential, as English is our working language
  • Must have the legal right to live and work in the country of application

This role is open and suited to undergraduates or graduates in their third or final year of university.
