About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant to join our Implementation Services Department at Arcus Global. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with customers, third parties, and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet their business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customisation and Configuration: Utilise your technical expertise to customise and configure our products and platforms to meet customer requirements, translating their business needs into technical solutions.
  • Customer Experience Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and deliver business outcomes, guiding customers to provide clear and concise information to facilitate efficient configuration.
  • Solution Delivery: Develop and deliver solutions that not only meet customer business requirements but also improve their day-to-day work processes, ensuring high-quality and efficient outcomes.
  • Project Documentation: Collaborate with the internal project team to create project documentation, including training plans, materials, and configuration templates, ensuring that your work is well-documented for future reference.
  • Customer Training and Engagement: Provide excellent customer training and guidance throughout the implementation process, building customer confidence in our team and the Arcus brand.
  • Process Improvement: Analyse customer feedback and present well-thought-out solutions and ideas to internal seniors and leads in our R&D department, driving process improvements and product enhancements.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Experience in configuring or developing business applications, with a good understanding of data models, security models, and workflows.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in custom code and integrations, including issue management applications like JIRA, basic HTML development principles, DBA skills, and experience with source control like GIT.
  • Application Architecture: Understanding of application architecture principles and experience with the design process.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work with external customers and internal stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Organisation and Adaptability: Highly organised and able to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected issues.
  • Self-Starter: A self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead projects as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Data Analysis and Migration: Hands-on experience with data analysis and/or migration work.
  • Salesforce Experience: Experience working with Salesforce, including declarative and programmatic aspects of the platform.
  • Cloud Services: Experience working with and configuring cloud services like AWS and Azure.
  • UK Public Sector Knowledge: Knowledge of the UK public sector structure, including the different roles and purposes of organisations within it.
