Strategic Mental Capacity Act Specialist

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead on the strategic development and implementation of our Mental Capacity Act practice within our IASC Directorate.
  • Provide specialist expert advice to staff and service leads on policy, practice, and legislative development.
  • Work closely with our senior leaders, managers, and practitioners to develop and implement strategies for improving practice, informing service development, and promoting best practice in mental capacity and adult social care.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, partners, and professionals to ensure that we are at the forefront of best practice in mental capacity and adult social care.

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Benefits: 26 days annual leave, rising incrementally to 31 days after 5 years' service, flexible working opportunities, generous Local Government Pension Scheme, relocation support up to £10,000, visa sponsorship may be offered as part of the relocation support package.
