We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Custody Officer to join our team at Amersham Magistrates Court. As a key member of our Prisoner Escort and Custody Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation and custody of detainees.
Key Responsibilities- Accompany defendants in court rooms and cells, ensuring their physical and mental wellbeing.
- Search property or people as required, maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Ensure food and drink are available to detainees, adhering to dietary requirements and cultural sensitivities.
- Complete paperwork and data entry for the day, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
