Job Description: Lead Specialist Counsellor

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Contribute to the development of bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils
* Work collaboratively with Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy teams to facilitate MDT working
* Collect and analyse data to inform various pieces of service delivery, development and project work
* Develop and implement effective strategies to support pupils with complex needs

**Requirements:**
* Post-graduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic), or experienced Psychotherapist
* Previous experience working with adults or children with intellectual disabilities
* Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
* Substantial and relevant post-qualification experience with adults and children
