About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Fraud Purple Team Analyst to join our team at Barclays Bank PLC. As a key member of our Cyber Fraud Fusion Center, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and excellence in our digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise on security systems and engineering patterns to support the safeguarding of our systems and sensitive information.
  • Develop and implement protocols, algorithms, and software applications to protect sensitive data and systems.
  • Manage and protect secrets, ensuring they are securely generated, stored, and used.
  • Execute audits to monitor, identify, and assess vulnerabilities in our infrastructure/software and support the response to potential security breaches.
  • Identify advancements to support the innovation and adoption of new cryptographic technologies and techniques.
  • Collaborate across the bank, including developers and security teams, to ensure that cryptographic solutions align with business objectives, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement Identity and Access Management solutions and systems.

Assistant Vice President Expectations

  • Consult on complex issues, providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.
  • Perform work that is closely related to that of other areas, which requires understanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work, for business-aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources, to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex information. 'Complex' information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
  • Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
