We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teaching assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a special education teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and assist the class teacher in planning lessons and adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of pupils with SEN.
- Supervise and support pupils during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Cover PPA time and plan and deliver lessons as needed.
- Record pupil progress and contribute to the development of individual education plans.
- Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident for at least three months.
- Overseas criminal clearance or willingness to apply.
- Child enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
- Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children.
- Experience covering and delivering lessons.
- Minimum of three months UK residency.
