Care Assistant Role in Residential Care

Quality Service Recruitment is seeking an experienced Care Assistant to work early shifts over the weekend within a beautiful care home based in the Alfreton area.
About the Job:- You will ensure that all care plans are followed to provide the best possible level of support to residents, tailoring your care accordingly.
- Personal care duties include assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- The health and safety of service users under your care is paramount, requiring regular monitoring and adherence to risk assessments.
- Basic cleaning duties may be required, ensuring all relevant cleaning rotas and safety procedures are followed.
- A minimum of 12 months paid UK care experience working within a care or nursing home is essential.
- An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service is mandatory.
- Mandatory training certificates relevant to the role, dated within the past 12 months, are also required.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in residential care, ideally with older adults.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends and variable shifts.
