We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead IPC Nurse to join our team at MediTalent Ltd in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in infection prevention and control and have excellent leadership and communication skills.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care while ensuring the highest standards of infection prevention and control.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with housekeeping to create cleaning protocols that meet the unique needs of each hospital area.
- Ensure efficient and effective clinical waste management.
- Work with the Waste Officer to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Be the go-to expert for choosing and using equipment that supports the best in infection control practices.

- A salary of £55,000 per annum, which reflects the importance of this role in maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control.
