We are seeking a highly skilled Property Lawyer to join our team at British Solar Renewables. As a leading company in the renewable energy sector, we require an expert in property law to manage a wide range of property-related legal matters.

About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a qualified solicitor with expertise in property law, preferably within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and managing complex property agreements, ensuring seamless execution of property transactions while maintaining compliance and mitigating legal risks.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate all property-related legal documents, including Options for Leases, Leases, Deeds of Surrender, Easements, Sub-leases, Licenses, Wayleaves, and Site Sharing Agreements.
- Collaborate with the grid team, project managers, and planning consultants to identify and secure cost-effective cable connection routes for projects.
- Draft, review, and negotiate Options for Easements, Deeds of Easement, Wayleaves, and Substation Leases.
- Address queries from buyers, funders, and due diligence teams, providing advice and solutions for legal issues.
- Qualified solicitor with expertise in property law, preferably within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex property agreements.
- Strong understanding of title reviews, due diligence, and compliance processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams, external lawyers, and stakeholders.
