Job Summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team on Ward 2, University Hospital, Birmingham. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve patient-centered care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the needs of patients.
  • Conduct clinical observations and record accurate data.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Registered Adult Nurse on the NMC Register.
  • Previous experience or working in an acute secondary NHS care setting.
  • Ability to work a varied shift pattern, including nights and weekends.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.
