Role Overview

This is a 30-hour per week role for an Activities Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will build friendships with our residents, deliver high levels of personal and psychological care, and maintain good communication levels with our Manager, Senior Care Assistants, Chef, and relatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with residents to help them adjust to life in a care home
  • Deliver high-quality personal and psychological care to all residents
  • Maintain effective communication with the Manager, Senior Care Assistants, Chef, and relatives
  • Complete records to a satisfactory standard, as agreed with the Manager
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Plan daytime and evening activities
  • Maintain awareness of Health and Safety requirements
  • Coordinate activities with other services in the facility and create a monthly planner
  • Encourage resident participation in activities and document outcomes, aware of residents' hobbies and interests
  • Work individually and within the team to provide necessary backup for all staff

Requirements
  • No experience as a Care Assistant
  • No requirement for sponsorship
  • Ability to work 30 hours per week
