We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofer to join our successful Responsive Repairs team at Platform Housing Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance and repair work on properties, including patch repair and refurbishments.
  • Install and replace roofs, and be competent in delivering various roofing services, including:
    • Tile and slate roofing
    • Felting roofs
    • Flat roofs
    • Ridge and hip tiles
    • Chimneys
    • Flashing
    • Pointing
    • Rain water gutters and down pipes

Requirements:

  • Significant roofing experience
  • Time served or a roofing qualification is a benefit
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn new skills
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Experience of working for a social landlord, housing association, or council
  • Strong customer service skills
  • A full driving licence
  • DBS check required
