The successful candidate will collaborate with other managers and oversee a diverse client portfolio, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. They will have the flexibility to manage their portfolio independently while working closely with a skilled team of managers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied client portfolio
  • Reviewing and preparing statutory accounts
  • Creating income and expenditure accounts for clients as needed
  • Overseeing bookkeeping and organizing accounting records
  • Reviewing, preparing, and submitting VAT returns
  • Preparing and submitting personal and corporate tax returns
  • Providing outstanding client service by addressing queries and offering support
  • Collaborating with senior management, including assisting Partners on projects
  • Contributing to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and fostering relationships with potential clients

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 5 years experience within practice
  • Hands-on experience of accounts, management accounts, tax, and VAT
