As a Respite Caregiver for Adults, you will be providing temporary support to individuals who require assistance with daily living skills. This may include helping with personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
You will be working closely with the individual and their family to understand their needs and preferences. Your role will involve creating a safe and welcoming environment in your home.
The ideal candidate will be patient, understanding, and able to build strong relationships with the individuals they support. You will also need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
- Assist with daily living skills, such as personal care and meal preparation
- Help individuals attend day services, work placements, or volunteer activities
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment in your home
Estimated Salary: £23,500 - £26,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
