About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to provide respite support to adults in their own home. As a Shared Lives carer, you will be responsible for supporting an individual with daily living skills on a short-term basis, providing a rewarding and flexible way to make a difference in someone's life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting an individual with daily living skills
- Providing a safe and welcoming environment in your own home
- Working with the individual to achieve their goals and objectives
About Shared Lives:
Shared Lives is a care and support service that offers an alternative to supported living or residential care. We support adults to live independently in their community with the support of a family and community network.
Requirements:
- A spare room in your own home
- An open and caring attitude
- The ability to work flexibly and provide short-term support
What We Offer:
As a Shared Lives carer, you will receive ongoing support and training to help you provide the best possible care for the individuals in your support. You will also be part of a network of carers who can provide support and guidance.
